(May 20, 2008) Country music performing artist Michael Peterson was in Lincoln for the final stop of his “My Real Life – Strong For America” tour. Peterson stopped by the State Capitol to meet Gov. Dave Heineman, who presented him with an Admiralship in the mythical Great Navy of Nebraska. Peterson will spend the week visiting schools, hospitals and community groups in several Nebraska communities encouraging volunteerism and community involvement.
