(July 10, 2008 News Release ) Gov. Dave Heineman and Nebraska Chief Justice Michael Heavican review the progress being made to address child welfare reform in our state.  The Governor provided an update on several directives he issued in 2006 with the goal of resolving more of the state’s child welfare cases. He also announced a new partnership with the potential to help an additional 550 children be reunited with their families.
