Gov. Dave Heineman honored over 100 Nebraska World War II veterans in Lincoln.  The veterans will be flying to Washington, D.C. as part of a "Heartland Honor Flight" to see the World War II Memorial on the National Mall.  The pre-flight dinner was held at Memorial Stadium and was hosted by KFOR’s Mark Taylor.  The veterans were escorted by Patriot Guard Riders.
