(Oct. 6, 2008) - News Release - Governor Dave Heineman discusses the future of education in the State of Nebraska with newly named Nebraska Department of Education Commissioner, Dr. Roger Breed of Elkhorn.  The Governor was also joined by State Sen. Ron Raikes, Chairman of the Legislature’s Education Committee, and Fred Meyer, President of the Nebraska State Board of Education, in describing a new partnership focused on resolving educational issues.
