(Aug. 14, 2008) News Release -Governor Dave Heineman and Nebraska State College System (NSCS) Chancellor Stan Carpenter announce a new scholarship aimed at Nebraska high school seniors who hope to stay in the state after college and become leaders in their communities. Application materials are on the Nebraska State College System Web site, http://www.nscs.edu, and can also be obtained from high school guidance counselors. The deadline to apply is Dec. 1. A committee of state college admissions directors will select the recipients.
