Governor Dave Heineman and Senator Bill Avery of Lincoln outline a legislative proposal that would reform state law by requiring state elected officials to wait two years before registering as a lobbyist with the Nebraska Legislature.  Senator Avery will introduce the bill in the upcoming Legislative Session.
