Gov. Dave Heineman names Col. Tim Kadavy as Nebraska’s next Adjutant General. Kadavy will serve as the state’s 31st adjutant general. As head of the Nebraska Military Department, Col. Kadavy will lead the more than 4,500 Air and Army Guard personnel making up the Nebraska National Guard, and the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Col. Kadavy will be promoted to brigadier general and receive command of the Nebraska National Guard from current Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. Roger Lempke, during a ceremony scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3.
