Gov. Heineman Speaks At Groundbreaking Ceremony

Yesterday, Governor Heineman spoke at the ground breaking ceremony for an ethanol plant in Wahoo. E85, Inc. intends to build a 110 million gallon dry mill corn processing plant on a 160-acre site. The natural gas and electrically powered plant is planning to produce 150,000 tons annually of dried distiller grains and solubles, a high value livestock feed. E85, Inc. is expected to start-up mid 2008 and estimates first year annual payroll of $1.8 million with approximately 45 employees.
