Mike Hart was a Sergeant First Class with the RAOC who accepted a commission
as a Second Lieutenant with the 189th.
Transportation Company (in Norfolk, NE). He retired from the Nebraska National Guard and was the Vice Principal of Norfolk Junior High School and became the Middle
School Principal this past fall. Students, faculty, and the community surprised Mr. Hart, recognizing him for his service. Governor Heineman and Dan R. Van Kerrebrook, SFC presented him with a plaque recognizing his dedication to the country and a flag that was flown in Iraq on several occasions, including Independence Day and September 11.
