(Lincoln, Neb.) Gov. Heineman is reminding Nebraskans to fly U.S. and Nebraska flags at half-staff on Tuesday, October 16, remembering former U.S. Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania.

Today, President Barack Obama issued a Presidential Proclamation for U.S. flags at the White House and other public buildings flown at half-staff Tuesday, the day of Sen. Specter’s interment.
