Gov. Heineman Appoints Daniel Fridrich of Omaha to Workers' Compensation Court


(Lincoln, Neb.) Gov. Dave Heineman today announced his appointment of Daniel R. Fridrich of Omaha to serve as a judge on the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court.  

Fridrich, 41, has practiced law for 15 years in Nebraska and has served for 10 years as Senior Counsel Workers’ Compensation for Werner Enterprises, Inc. Prior to his work with Werner Enterprises, Fridrich was an attorney at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and an Associate Attorney with Luebs, Leininger, Smith, Busick & Johnson.

Fridrich serves as a Lecturer and Attendee for the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Section Annual Seminar. Additionally, Fridrich has taught a Law Day Class at Norris Elementary in the Millard Public School District for four years.

Fridrich is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1992 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and attended the University of Nebraska College of Law, graduating in 1996.

The vacancy is due to retirement of Judge Ronald L. Brown
