Gov. Heineman Reminds Nebraskans to Fly Flags at
Half-Staff for Patriot Day

(Lincoln, Neb.) Gov. Dave Heineman is directing that flags at all state buildings and facilities be lowered to half-staff on Friday, Sept. 11 in observance of Patriot Day.

Patriot Day is observed in honor of the victims of terror strikes in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington.

Nebraska residents are encouraged to fly flags at half-staff in honor of the observance.
