Gov. Heineman Reminds Nebraskans to
Lower Flags during Fallen Firefighters Memorial Day

(Lincoln, Neb.) Gov. Heineman is encouraging Nebraskans to fly U.S. and Nebraska flags at half-staff on Sunday, October 5 in observance of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.

President George W. Bush signed a proclamation today ordering flags to be flown at half-staff nationwide as part of National Fire Prevention Week 2008.
