(Lincoln, Neb.)  The Judicial Nominating Commission for the District Court, Third Judicial District, has forwarded the names of three nominees to Gov. Dave Heineman for his consideration in naming a judge to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Earl J. Witthoff.

 The nominees are Andrew R. Jacobsen, Robert R. Otte and Stephanie F. Stacy.  All are from Lincoln.

Gov. Heineman will schedule interviews with nominees in the coming weeks.
