(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman today issued a statement following the Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board’s decision to revise state revenue estimates for the current fiscal year up approximately $69 million and $48 million in FY 2008-09.

“Today’s forecast is an indication that our state economy is experiencing steady growth, which is good news. This provides room for additional tax relief for Nebraskans and should not be seen as a license to pursue additional state spending.”
