Nine Candidates Apply for District 18 State Senator Seat

(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman has received nine applications from individuals interested in representing Legislative District 18. The Governor will appoint a new state senator to replace Sen. Mick Mines who announced his retirement last month.

Those applying include: Gary Anderson Sr., Jim Haidley, Patricia Hannan, Scott Lautenbaugh, Shawn Maloy, Jaimee Napp, George Vogel, and Scott Yahnke, all of Omaha; and Carl Lorenzen of Blair.
