Four Names Forwarded to Governor for Adjutant General

(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman today announced the list of finalists forwarded for his consideration to serve as Nebraska’s next adjutant general. The Governor asked a screening panel to review the applications of first-round candidates and recommend several finalists.

The finalists are Lt. Col. Thomas Brewer of Murdock, Col. Timothy Kadavy of Arlington, Va., Col. Steven Olson of Lakeville, Minn., and Col. Thomas Schuurmans of Lincoln.

Gov. Heineman will schedule interviews with finalists in the coming weeks. He intends to name a successor in October in order to provide for a transition period before Gen. Roger Lempke’s retirement in November.
