Jean Heineman Passes at Age 87

(Lincoln, NE) Jean Heineman, father of Governor Dave Heineman, passed on late Thursday afternoon at the South Haven Nursing Home in Wahoo. Heineman was 87 years old.

A life-long resident of Nebraska, Jean Heineman had a long career at JCPenney as a store manager in several communities throughout the state.

The Heineman family deeply appreciates the outpouring of support they are already receiving from Nebraska citizens.

The funeral is set for Monday, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. CT at the First United Methodist Church in Wahoo. Arrangements are being handled by Pruss Nabity Funeral Home in Wahoo.
