Gov. Heineman Names Kerry Winterer of Omaha CEO of Health & Human Services

(Lincoln, Neb.) June 29, 2009 - Gov. Dave Heineman today named Kerry Winterer, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Winterer will begin July 13.

Gov. Heineman Announces Promotion of Nebraska Adjutant General to National Post

(Lincoln, Neb.) June 26, 2009 - Gov. Dave Heineman today announced that Maj. Gen. Tim Kadavy, Adjutant General of the Nebraska National Guard, has been named Deputy Director of the Army National Guard. His start date has not yet been determined but is expected to be in the next few months.

Aeronautics Director Stu MacTaggart Retiring

(Lincoln, Neb.) June 25, 2009 - Gov. Dave Heineman announced today that Stu MacTaggart, Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, has decided to retire in August. His last day will be Aug. 7.
