(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman today issued the following statement regarding the temporary injunction issued by District Judge J. Michael Coffey regarding LB 1024:

“Pending further action from the court, today’s injunction prevents the state from moving forward with the implementation of LB 1024,” Gov. Heineman said. “My first priority is to consult with legislative leaders before determining our next step.”
