(Chadron, NE) The wild fires in Dawes and Sioux County have severely impacted both victims and volunteers in the Panhandle region. The communities in the area recognize the growing cost of responding to the ongoing fires and have now established a relief fund. The fund will be available to help provide emergency financial relief and support to victims and volunteers. Financial donations may be made to any financial institution in Dawes or Sioux County, or make a donation payable to the Dawes-Sioux Fire Fund, PO Box 1125, Chadron, NE 69337.
